Transferring specific documents

Go to “Services” and select “Manage transfer from my vault”.

The default option is “Transfer my documents”. This option is automatically selected and with it, you will leave all of your documents in your vault to your heirs. You can, if you wish, choose to deactivate this option and not leave any documents to your heirs via Izimi.

You can choose to leave specific documents instead of all of your documents in your vault to your heirs.

For this, select “Specific documents” and “Select documents” in the menu below:

Select the desired documents and tap “Save”:

The specific documents will be transferred to your heirs instead of all of the documents in your vault.

Transfer specific documents to specific contacts

You can further customise the transfer of documents in your vault after your death. This allows you to leave specific documents to specific contacts. Please note however that it is a legal requirement that all of the selected documents be transferred to your heirs. As such, all of the documents selected for transfer to specific contacts will also be transferred to your heirs.

Click on “+ Add a transfer”:

Next, select which Izimi contact you wish to leave one or more documents to from your vault.

For each Izimi contact, select which setting to apply: transfer entire vault or specific documents.

If you select “Specific documents”, a list of documents will open in which you will need to select which documents you wish to leave to this specific contact. If you select a document from this list that you have not yet selected for transfer to your heirs, a notification will appear to indicate that this document will automatically be added to the documents that will be transferred to your heirs. It is a legal requirement that your heirs also receive these documents.

The welcome screen will show an overview of vault transfers:

If you wish to delete a transfer from your vault to a contact, open that transfer in the vault and tap the three dots in the upper right:
